Trip to Cameron

The trip was short but enjoyable. Fuel consumption was always at least 10km/litre.

For once I got 13km/litre. Fuel up at Tanah Rata (Shell Regular) and again at Sungai Besi.

Hi Man ! Great Blog...I have an Ipsum in Hong KOng and wanted to ask you some questions about upgrading it
1. Lowering it to reduce the center of gravity HK is very hilly steep and sharp corners.
2. Upgrading the Brakes to more bigger brakes any ideas ?
3. Bigger wheels maybe 19inch
4. The engine screeches sounds like a belt screech.
5. Need a new exhaust - any recommendations?
6. What is the best oil you have found to use in our Tropical climate
7. Any other suggestions ?

Hello Richard,

I like to keep my ride in stock form in tip top condition.

1. I was told that TRD produces adjustable suspension for our Ipsum. Try pay them a visit.

2. Bigger brakes... I have no idea.

3. I think 17" is good enough. Mine is pre-facelift model and came with 16".

4. Go get them checked.

5. Trust/GReddy perhaps?

6. So far the best is M7 engine oil. I was told that they are re-packed GREddy Motor Oil. Try them out.

7. Stabilizers... have you thought of them? Voltage stabilizer and GReddy e-Manage? Good tyres!
